On the 25th of September 2024, Endeavor Malaysia held its third session of the Local Selection Panel (LSP), bringing together distinguished panellists to identify and support Malaysia’s next wave of high-impact entrepreneurs. JurisTech’s COO, Naaman Lee, had the honour of joining the panel alongside leading professionals from various industries, as they evaluated and selected promising entrepreneurs ready to make a global impact.

Endeavor Malaysia, the local affiliate of Endeavor, has long championed entrepreneurship as a force for economic growth. Operating across nearly 40 countries, Endeavor supports over 2,000 entrepreneurs whose ventures generate a collective revenue of more than USD 28 billion and have created over 3.9 million jobs worldwide. The panel for this session featured several accomplished figures in the industry:

• Datuk Md Arif Mahmood – an Independent Non-Executive Director for HSBC Amanah, recognised for his strategic insight and experience in banking and finance.
• Vicks Kanagasingam – a Business Transformation Coach and Startup Architect with a wealth of experience in building high-growth ventures.
• Prashant Kumar – an Independent Director at Astro, bringing expertise from the media and telecommunications sector.
• Naaman Lee – COO of JurisTech, who has previously served as an Endeavor Entrepreneur and brings a deep understanding of scaling innovative solutions within the lending and recovery solutions sector.

Together, the panellists provided valuable insights to the participating entrepreneurs, sharing strategic advice and feedback to help them strengthen their business models and enhance their impact.

After thorough deliberation, the panellists selected two outstanding companies to proceed to the International Selection Panel (ISP). Lucas Ooi and Hann Liew, co-founders of Halogen Capital, lead the way in Shariah-compliant digital asset investment, providing a trusted path for investors in Malaysia’s evolving financial landscape. Ken Lim, CEO of Dpstar Group, heads an industrial solutions company specialising in electrical heating, temperature measurement, and automation, meeting the diverse needs of industries worldwide.
