JurisTech Named Among Representative Vendors in Gartner® Research on AI-Driven Collections and Early Default Warning Solutions

We’re proud to share that JurisTech has been named among the Representative Vendors offering early-warning monitoring (EWM) solutions in Gartner’s research, The Next Wave of AI-Driven Collections & Early Default Warning Solutions, published on 1 September 2026.

The research comes as banks look more closely at how AI and advanced analytics can help minimise loan loss and strengthen debt recovery. Yet adoption remains relatively early, as only 8% of banking and investment technology leaders or their direct reports surveyed said their organisation had implemented AI for credit portfolio risk management or corporate loan analysis.

One of the most significant shifts we see is the move towards earlier intervention, before an account reaches serious delinquency.

With the right behavioural, transactional and financial data, banks can identify borrower distress earlier, giving them more time to intervene before conditions worsen. In this context, Gartner points to dynamic credit risk scoring as one way banks can put this into practice, enabling near-real-time credit reviews, limit adjustments and proactive collections actions, while helping distinguish between accounts likely to self-cure and those at greater risk of becoming non-performing.

That earlier visibility gives collections teams more time to prioritise the right accounts, choose the right treatment and intervene before the options narrow.

“Sound credit decisions have always depended on seeing what others miss. AI is expanding that field of vision, giving institutions a clearer view of the risks taking shape beneath the surface. That is where we come in: working closely with banks to combine our technology with their own judgement and experience, and turn earlier visibility into smarter action.”

Gartner points to predictive AI and advanced analytics as key technologies for strengthening early-warning monitoring, helping banks identify material changes in borrower risk earlier.

The bigger opportunity is in bringing that intelligence directly into the collection process.

Our debt collection system, Juris Collect, provides the core platform for managing collection and recovery across the debt lifecycle. Its early-detection capabilities are supported by our AI and autoML platform Juris MindCraft, and our auto-decisioning engine Juris DecisionCraft, combining predictive AI and machine learning with configurable expert-rule decisioning.

Juris MindCraft brings predictive intelligence, using historical behavioural and credit data to surface repayment patterns, self-curing accounts and emerging delinquency risk.

From there, Juris DecisionCraft helps translate those signals into action, applying the institution’s own policies and risk criteria through rules-based scoring and decisioning to determine the appropriate response.

Working alongside Juris Collect, these capabilities help institutions segment customers, configure treatment strategies, manage collection workflows and engage borrowers across multiple channels, while giving collectors clearer guidance on which accounts require attention and what action should follow.

For our customers, this recognition reinforces the value of connecting earlier risk detection with the right treatment and intervention across the recovery lifecycle. The sooner banks can move from a risk signal to the right response, the more room they have to influence the outcome.

It is a direction we have been building towards across lending and recovery, and one we are proud to see reflected in this Gartner research.
